Project Update Newsletter – Summer 2014
Issue 6 of the project update newsletter features key highlights of Fortress projects from April to June of 2014. With more than 50 active projects with 24 development partners, it’s been a busy three months since our last project update. Here is a summary of the most recent developments.
Bridgewater Residences by Mady Development Corporation started construction on their presentation centre on the Burlington waterfront, which features the renowned upscale brand Gluckstein Design. AdiDevelopments’ Link Condos + Towns launched their urban townhouse collection, in addition to cleaning up at the HHHBA awards for the second year in a row, taking home eight awards this year. Harmony Village Sheppard by City Core Developments was nominated for the best public relations campaign by BILD. Sierra Building Group launched a project website for Woodbridge Park in Vaughan, with a target sales launch in the spring of 2015.
May was ‘marketing month’ at Fortress with a new rendering and website launched by Chestnut Hill Homes’ Lotus condominium development, the project website designed by McOuat Partnership went live for Sky City Centre Winnipeg, a new rendering of the Architects Alliance-designed Jasper House was circulated, while Lamb Development’s Orchard project also commenced their advertising campaign. Kingridge Development’s office and medical condominium project in Oakville called Kingridge Square posted their sales brochure online, soliciting the services of CBRE, a global real estate services company to act as the broker on the development. Lastly, the construction crane at Brant Park was erected, as excavation and shoring were completed.
Tree House by Symmetry Developments and Engine Developments announced they have retained DK Studio, an international design fi rm who specialize in luxury retail and commercial projects, to program the interiors at this stacked townhouse development in Toronto. Lamb Development Corporation achieved a number of milestones during the month, releasing a new rendering of North in Edmonton, demolishing the sales office at 6th and Tenth in Calgary in preparation for the start of construction, and opening the presentation centre for Harlowe in Toronto (pictured below).
